Sunday 02/09/2012 Day 70: Nundaroo Hotel/Caravan Park to
Minippa Rest Area.
The temp was 3 degrees C at 06:30
this morning. Happy Father’s Day Les. We had pancakes for breakfast. We packed
up and left Nundaroo, the barking dog, sheep and 2 fighting cats. By the way Road-trains
sound like aeroplanes at 01:00 in the morning! Amanda drove all day to give Les
a rest. We drove to Ceduna – pretty boring scenery where we declared no fruit, vegetables
or Honey where we found that we were allowed to bring Honey so the kids got to
eat all the honey at breakfast for nothing! We had a nice lunch at the
foreshore near the Jetty at Ceduna where we topped fuel up. We passed through
some smaller towns and had a pit-stop at the giant ant at Poochera. We are now
at the Concrete Crappa. It is now 27 degrees C at 16:30. We have completed our
trip across the Nullarbor.
