Thursday 05/07/2012 Day 11: Katherine Gorge National Park to
Adelaide River Showgrounds.
We woke up to the sound of wallabies foraging through the
park again. Packed up and sadly left the Gorge. Drove into Katherine to get
Internet Coverage and booked our Caravan Park in Darwin. Ryan and I visited
Tackle World. We drove with a decent tail wind (bushfire) to Adelaide River.
The facilities here are great. The kids played in pool whilst Amanda chucked 2
loads of washing on and I updated the blog. This is our first night with
Internet since Mt Isa. Visited the Adelaide River general Store and picked up
some supplies. We had dinner at the ARSS. (Adelaide River Showground Society). Our neighbours on both sides of us were very nice. Amanda backed the Camper in between a tree and another Caravan. It's easier without the levelling hooks.
