Day 12: Tourist Day at Litchfield National Park.

Friday 06/07/2012 Day 12: Tourist Day at Litchfield National Park.
Left at 08:30 for our look around the Litchfield National Park
Wangi Falls: Completed the Wangi Loop (1.6km) goat track and then swam at the base of the falls. Very Nice, a little bit cold. Didn’t see the resident fresh water crocodiles
Tolmer Falls: Great view, shame no access to the base of the waterfall due to the rare Ghost bats
Lunch at the creek between Buley & Florence which was the only place we could get a park. Ryan ell in the creek. 1 sock & shoe a squelchy walk to Florence Falls.
Florence Falls: Nice climb down/up 135 stairs to a pretty waterfall, access to the water was a bit tricky across the rocks. The swim was worth it. Large Black Bream were swimming around the rocks.
Buley Rock Hole: Tried twice to get in and failed to get a park – too busy.
Magnetic Termite Mounds: interesting, weird & large.
Arrived back at ARSS at 16:00

Daily Stats: Distance: 243km, Duration: 7hrs30min, Weather: Sunny & Gentle Breeze/Smokey from Bush Fires
